- Intermediate Trained Assistant Teacher (Class 1-5): Senior Secondary (+2) with minimum 50% marks along with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), or 4-year B.El.Ed, or 2-year Special Education Diploma. Additionally, must have passed the JTET exam for Classes 1 to 5.
- Graduate Trained Assistant Teacher (Class 6-8): Graduate degree with 2-year D.El.Ed, or 50% marks in Graduation/Post-Graduation with B.Ed, or 4-year integrated B.A./B.Sc.Ed. Additionally, must have cleared the JTET exam for Classes 6 to 8.
